Love and sex are always in the news – especially now that I’m always looking for them! Some of the most interesting stories on human sexuality and relationships in recent weeks were:
- Benjamin Law writing about male escorts (and if you’d like to read a sexy story about an older woman visiting an escort, get Crossing the Thresholds – Olivia’s Story (Clan Destine Encounters)
from Amazon, go here to get it from Clan Destine.
- a survey on whether we think we’re getting enough sex, and what constitutes ‘normal’ anyway?
- Kate McCombs, sex education writer and Sex Geek, writing about something fun called ‘The Sexy Spock Maneouvre‘. (Note that this probably isn’t safe for work.)
- Salon also recently had an article about the rise of erotic romance, from a writer in the genre.
If you’re interested in sexual health discussed with both knowledge and enthusiasm, I recommend the Sex Geekdom website, and subscribing to their newsletter. But probably not with your work address.
Okay, so most of those articles are about sex rather than love, but as we know, while you can certainly have either separately, it’s always very nice when they’re combined.
- I conduct a two hour workshop on writing about Sex and Intimacy. If you’d like to book me for that, visit my Speaking page for details.
- In the meantime, read my erotic spy thrillers set in Melbourne and Brisbane: Double Edged and Expendable!
