Quintette asks writers five quick questions. This week’s interview is with Lee Christine!
Lee Christine
1. What’s the name of your latest book – and how hard was it to pick a title?
In Safe Arms. The working title was The Hideaway but for branding purposes I thought it better to keep it similar to the first book in the series In Safe Hands. So, for a few days I was thinking ‘In Safe what?’ and then a girlfriend and I had coffee and she said straight away In Safe Arms. I loved it immediately.
2. If you could choose anyone from any time period, who would you cast as the leads in your latest book?
Dylan McDermott and a young Drew Barrymore.
3. What five words best describe your story?
Smooth, seductive, savage, Sydney, underbelly.
4. Who is your favourite fictional couple?
Emma and Mr. Knightly, from Jane Austen’s Emma.
5. What song always makes you cry?
Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton.
